I am interested in a boudoir session, but I'm nervous!
It’s totally ok to be nervous. In fact it’s normal. We pride ourselves on creating a comfortable private and fun environment where you can let your hair down and shine.
The women that you work with are beautiful. I'm afraid I won't look like them.
The women you see in our portfolio are real everyday women — not models and guess what? Even models often don't look like models in real life. They have cellulite, stretch marks and acne like every other woman. Confidence is the real secret for these fabulous photos! This experience is not about perfection, but rather, having fun, getting glammed, and forgetting about any insecurities.
Do clients do their own hair and makeup?
Nope! This is about you and about giving you an experience, you won’t forget. Professional hair, makeup and lashes are included in each luxury boudoir photoshoot. Once you arrive on set, simply sit back, relax and get pampered before your session.
I don't know what to wear. Can you help?
Every luxury boudoir session with Damien includes a one-on-one wardrobe styling session. From color to style — I will help you choose the perfect wardrobe that looks tasteful, sexy, and accentuates your body perfectly. I also send out a Session Planning Guide that goes through everything you need to plan.
Where will my session take place?
Your shoot will take place in a beautiful private and professional space complete with photo shooting area, changing area, makeup space, and bathroom.
I don't know how to pose like the women that you work with, will you help me?
Absolutely! We don't expect you to be a supermodel. On the contrary — that’s why you'll be guided on exactly what to do, how to move, and how to pose perfectly so you feel confident throughout the entire experience. You’ll also be shown the poses beforehand and I’ll help you with it all until I capture the perfect photos.
I'm not really comfortable being photographed nude, but I really want to do a boudoir session. Is that okay?
Absolutely! You can feel confident and sexy no matter how covered you desire to be. We will completely communicate and customize your session to your comfort level.

Meet Damien
Hi, I’m Damien, Premier Luxury Boudoir Photographer in San Diego.
I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years in a variety of genres but it wasn’t until I photographed a very special woman who lost over 100 lbs that I knew I wanted to do boudoir.
During the shoot I’d stop and show her what I captured and over and over she was shocked. She couldn’t believe that it was her. It was her surprise reaction that I instantly knew this is what I wanted to do. She had lost the weight and hadn’t seen herself in that light before and her sheer surprise and enjoyment was enough for me to want to make others feel the same.
I’ll never forget the unabashed confidence she exuded after her in-studio hair, make up and wardrobe styling and the way she beamed with absolute adoration at herself as she saw her photographs for the first time. I want to give that feeling to every woman that works with me.
I take pride in photographing women in a way they never imagined possible. Being a boudoir photographer is all about empowerment and capturing the beauty the women you shoot may not see in themselves.
